SANDRA WONDERS sind fünf Musiker, die sich durch ihre Liebe zu individuellem musikalischem Ausdruck und modernem Sound im Herbst 2021 zusammengefunden haben. Nach ihrer Debüt-EP „Wildest Dreams" (2022) folgte im März 2024 ihr erstes Studioalbum „In These Moments", das durch eine Deutschland-Tournee und Auftritte unter anderem beim AStA-Sommerfestival in Paderborn, der Kieler Woche und dem Holter Meeting promotet wurde.
Jetzt meldet sich die Band mit einem neuen Sound zurück, der modern und trotzdem unverkennbar SANDRA WONDERS ist. Die neue EP „Together We Could Fly" enthält sechs Songs, die zeigen, wie die Band heute klingt: modulierte Gitarren, weite Synthesizer-Flächen und ein Gesang, der trotz aller Verspieltheit der Produktion immer im Zentrum bleibt.
Tracks wie „In Despair", „True Intentions" und der Titelsong „Take Me to the Sky" bewegen sich zwischen Dream-Pop Ästhetik á la Men I Trust und der soulig-warmen Direktheit einer Olivia Dean. Die Stimme gleitet durch die dichten Arrangements, ohne sich darin zu verlieren. Es entsteht ein warmer einhüllender Sound, der zum träumen einlädt und bei dem es immer wieder Neues zu entdecken gibt.

SANDRA WONDERS is a group of five musicians who came together in the fall of 2021 through their shared love of individual musical expression and modern sounds. Following their debut EP “Wildest Dreams” (2022), their first studio album “In These Moments” was released in March 2024, promoted through a tour of Germany and performances at events including the AStA Summer Festival in Paderborn, Kieler Woche, and the Holter Meeting.
Now the band is back with a new sound that’s modern yet unmistakably SANDRA WONDERS. The new EP “Together We Could Fly” features six songs that showcase the band’s current sound: modulated guitars, expansive synthesizer pads, and vocals that always remain front and center despite the production’s playful nature.
Tracks like “In Despair,” “True Intentions,” and the title track “Take Me to the Sky” oscillate between the dream-pop aesthetic à la Men I Trust and the soulful, warm directness of an Olivia Dean. The voice glides through the dense arrangements without getting lost in them. The result is a warm, enveloping sound that invites you to dream and offers something new to discover time and again.
